Christmas Party Invites: DIY #3

As promised, I told you that I would provide you with a tutorial on how to make Christmas Party Invites for your upcoming small gathering.  The directions follow below:

The supplies you need are simple.
-Silver Paper
-Green & Red Glitter Paper
-Jagged Edged Shears
-Double Sided Tape
-Small Bows
-Clear jewels
-Small Ornament Wine Glass Identifiers
-Black Sharpie

Begin by cutting your glitter paper into rectangles- making sure your green glitter paper is slightly smaller than your red glitter paper...

From here, line both up to the top & punch a hole in the middle...

Adhere your bow (Mine came with bendable backing)...

This is where you all will think that you'll struggle, but trust me, I am far from an artist, but we all know what a martini glass looks like!  Lightly sketch the outline of a martini glass...

Cut it out to the best of your abilities...

...and add the fun stuff!  Add the jewels to appear as the actual beverage & the wine glass identifiers to the bottom of the paper glass...

Now you will want to adhere your paper glass to the front of the invite with double sided tape, placed directly in the middle of your green glitter paper...

Then I cut out from the previous silver sheet of paper, a small invite to write my party details on.  For small cocktail parties, I find it more formal to personally hand write your invites, but as I know that this is a tedious process, toss that gray paper into your printer & use the font of your choice, if you prefer.  Use the jagged edged shears to allow for the silver to pop & adhere with a fastener...

After you have that taped down, you're done!  Such a very simple process for homemade Christmas Party Invites!

Enjoy!
